At August & Claire, we believe being part of the community means more than simply working within it. It means showing up, supporting important causes, and standing alongside organisations making a meaningful impact.

Recently, our team had the privilege of attending the annual Moonlight Gala hosted by RUN DIPG, an evening dedicated to raising awareness and vital funding for research into DIPG and DMG, among the deadliest forms of childhood brain cancer.

Held in recognition of DIPG/DMG Awareness Day, the Moonlight Gala brings together families, researchers, businesses and supporters united by a shared goal: moving towards a cure.

Throughout the evening, there was an overwhelming sense of generosity, resilience and connection. Powerful stories were shared, important conversations were had, and the collective support in the room served as a reminder of the strength of community when people come together behind a cause that truly matters.

As a firm, we are proud to support organisations like RUN DIPG that are helping fund critical research and provide hope to families impacted by DIPG/DMG. Recent funding initiatives supported by the organisation continue to contribute to groundbreaking research efforts led by teams including researchers at the University of Newcastle.

Events like the Moonlight Gala are an important reminder that meaningful change is driven not only through research and innovation, but through community support, advocacy and awareness.

We extend our gratitude to the organisers, volunteers, families and supporters who made the evening possible, and we are honoured to have been part of such a meaningful event.
